What is HOCOA?
HOCOA is an association designed to eliminate the stress and
worry of home repairs and renovations for the homeowner.
Members make one call, anytime day or night, for all their
home repair, maintenance and service needs.
Why should I join HOCOA?
As a homeowner you’ve no doubt experienced this frustration:
Something in your home breaks – maybe a pipe bursts or your
furnace stops working. You open the yellow pages and begin
calling plumbers or heating contractors and you get one
recorded message after another. You leave your name on five
or six answering machines and then you wait. Eventually
someone calls you back and tells you they can come out next Thursday and
would you like to make an appointment. You can’t wait that
long so you go back to the yellow pages and start over. At
last you get someone to come out the day after tomorrow for
an appointment window between 11am and 3pm. You schedule
another day off from work. The contractor shows up at
4:45pm. They do the repair but inform you that what you
really need is a new furnace or other major renovation.
You begin to consider that all you really know about this
contractor is that they have an ad in the yellow pages. What
you don’t know -
• Do they have a current state license?
• Are they insured?
• Do they have the experience and skills to do the job?
• Will they charge you a fair price for their work?
• Do they guarantee their work?
With HOCOA all these questions are answered. All of our
contractors have the appropriate licenses and insurance. We
personally interview and reference check each of our
contractors with regard to experience, quality of work and
price. We ensure your complete satisfaction with a follow up
call after the work is completed.

How does HOCOA select their contractors?
All HOCOA contractors and service providers are carefully
screened to ensure they have solid personal and professional
references. We personally interview and check references to
ensure each of our contractors are experienced, licensed and
insured. HOCOA accepts less than 20% of contractor inquiries
to be a part of our home repair service family.
How many times can I utilize HOCOA contractors and
service providers?
There is no limit on the number of times members can access
HOCOA contractors and service providers.
How do I know I’ll be satisfied as a member of
HOCOA?
HOCOA South Jersey is locally owned and operated. Our
business depends on the complete satisfaction of all our
members. When you call us, you are calling someone in your
area who will take the time to solve your home repair needs.
We send you one of our qualified contractors and follow up
with you after the job is completed to ensure your complete
satisfaction.
